宋卡撒米拉海滩（Samila Beach, Songkla)。据说，沙滩附近的海域，一度曾是海盗据点，但如今已成为宋卡著名的风景区。
Songkhla sub Mira beach (Samila Beach, Songkla). It is said that the beaches near the sea, was once a pirate stronghold, but now has become a famous scenic spot of songkla.
在洁白的沙滩上，还有一座很显眼的青铜制美人鱼雕像，以表达对印度教中大地女神的敬意。另外一个有关这尊雕塑的传说是：美人鱼铜像是一名宋卡姑娘化身而成，

天真的姑娘深信水手会很快的归来迎娶她，天天的都到沙滩等待。。。年复一年，始终还是没有等到水手回来。

终于一天姑娘变成美人鱼铜像，永远守望着撒米拉海滩。美人鱼铜像旁边是一组“猫和老鼠”雕像，因为宋卡最著名的两座岛屿就分别命名为猫岛（KoYo）和鼠岛（KoLosin）。
