长江三峡，中国10大风景名胜之一，中国40佳旅游景观之首。三峡位于中国的腹地，中国重庆市和湖北省境内的长江干流上。属亚热带季风气候区，是瞿塘峡，巫峡和西陵峡三段峡谷的总称。

三峡两岸悬崖绝壁，江中滩峡相间，水流湍急，它是中国古文化的发源地之一，曾是三国古战场，是无数英雄豪杰的用武之地。它西起重庆奉节的白帝城，东迄湖北宜昌的南津关，跨重庆奉节、重庆巫山、湖北巴东、湖北秭归、湖北宜昌，长二百零四公里。
