远眺万寿宝塔矗立于万里长江第一矶━荆江大堤观音矶头之上,系明朝第七代辽王朱宪火(节)藩封荆州时,于嘉靖二十七年(公元1548年)遵嫡母毛太妃之命,为嘉靖皇帝祈寿而建,历时4载。它是湖北省又一处重要的古建筑,1956年被湖北省人民政府公布为全省第一批重点文物保护单位。 万寿宝塔通高40.76米,八面七层,楼阁式砖石仿木结构.

Overlooking the mansu pagoda stands in the first Rocky-Jingjiang dike goddess of the Yangtze above the cliff head, the seventh generation of the Ming dynasty Liao and Wang Zhu Xianhuo (Festival) when Francisco Jingzhou, in 27 year of Jiajing (1548) compliance dimu Mao Taifei the fate of the Jiajing Emperor praying for longevity, built after 4 years.
