龟屿是新加坡仅次于圣淘沙岛的度假胜地。在“巨龟”的头部有一座大伯公庙，该庙依岩而建，红墙绿瓦，三面临水。大伯公庙附近还有一座马来达图公庙。每年的10-11月，众多的善男信女会前往该岛的这两座庙宇朝拜。

Kusu is second only to Singapore in Sentosa Island resort. In the "giant tortoises," the head has a large Bogong Miao, the temple was built according to the rock, red walls and green tiles, three facing the water. Nearby there is a large 伯公庙 Malay Datuk temple. October-November each year, many of the men and women will go to the island, these two temples to worship.

传说有一只巨大海龟为舍身救助两名遇难的水手，把自己变成了一个岛屿，这座岛就是龟屿。为了感恩，这两名马来及华族水手便在岛上建了一座马来圣祠、一座中国道观和一个巨型海龟雕像。而龟屿岛由于从侧面看，的确像一只大海龟，这可能也是传说的由来。 龟屿岛（Kusu Island）拥有多处宗教圣地，一年一度的“龟屿进香”都在此举行。每年9月至 11 月，成千上万的人涌向龟屿，祈求平安、好运、健康、幸福与如意。

Legend has it that a giant turtle rescue two victims of suicide sailors, put themselves into an island, the island is the Kusu. For Thanksgiving, the two sailors were Malays and ethnic Chinese on the island shrine built a Malay, a Chinese Taoist temple and a statue of a giant turtle. The Kusu Island due from the side, really like a big turtle, which may also be the origin of the legend. Kusu Island (Kusu Island) has many religious sites, the annual "Kusu pilgrimage" are held here. September to November every year, thousands of people flock to Kusu, pray for peace, good luck, health, happiness and smug.
