龟屿是新加坡仅次于圣淘沙岛的度假胜地。在“巨龟”的头部有一座大伯公庙，该庙依岩而建，红墙绿瓦，三面临水。大伯公庙附近还有一座马来达图公庙。每年的10-11月，众多的善男信女会前往该岛的这两座庙宇朝拜。

槟城大桥 (又称槟威大桥) 位于马来西亚槟城州，是槟城州的著名地标。这长达13.5公里的大桥连接槟城州的槟岛和对岸的威省。在威省，槟威大桥和南北大道相接，可直接通往马来西亚半岛西海岸的大小城镇或北上泰国和南下新加坡。 槟威大桥在1985年9月14日正式通车。

极乐寺建于1893年，寺庙依山而建，占地12公顷。
极乐寺的建设由当时任椰脚街广福宫的主持妙莲法师所启发。妙莲法师原本来自福建涌泉寺，他曾于1885年到槟城州筹募基金修建福州龟山法堂。2年后，出任椰脚街广福宫的住持。槟城极乐寺最先建立的是大士殿，5年后相继增建天王殿、大雄殿、藏经阁、东西客堂及放生池等.
