十八丁的泉成炭窑是全马最大有名的炭窑厂，它位于前往十八丁小镇的大路旁。这里炭窑所制造出来的火炭多数供应到日本， 只有小部分在本地出售。炭窑多建在沼泽地的小河旁，制炭用的红树在涨潮时会被船只载到这里。游客可以到炭窑厂去参观，了解炭的制作过程。炭其实不是直接用 火烧成，而是利用窑火与热气将木材的水蒸气蒸发而成。红树木被砍伐下来后，工人得先送回炭窑剥皮，接着以直立的方式摆进窑里，然后起火熏木材。全程大约一 个月。

Kuala Sepetang -Chuan Seng Charcoal kilns is Malaysia's largest-known charcoal kilns, which is located in the small town to the Kuala Sepetang roadside. Here charcoal coals produced out of most of the supply to Japan, only a small portion sold locally. Charcoal kilns were built in small riverside marshes, mangrove charcoal used boats at high tide will be uploaded here. Visitors can go to the charcoal kilns to visit and learn how charcoal. In fact, not a carbon directly into the fire, but to use kiln fire and steam heat will evaporate from the timber. After the red trees were cut down, and the workers have to charcoal kilns peeling back, then put into an upright manner kiln and fire smoked wood. It takes about a month.
